My first ever collection, launched in May 8th 2009 at Stockton's Haggin Museum. 6 fully lined dresses. Inspiration is drawn from modern art, romanticism and classicism, with Greek influence.
Colors only include shades of gold and ivory. Fabrics are crepe, crepe-back satin, voile and satin.
Fusing contrasting elements to create beauty. Hard and soft (evident from the hard look of the gold polygonal tiling plates as opposed to the softness of the voile, crepe and satin); history and modernism (classic and romantic influence through drapery and the ruffles, versus the modern look of the polygon tiling (insets in sewing terms)that reoccurs throughout the garments); order and chaos (restriction, stability and permanent placement of the gold polygonal tilings opposing the freedom, motion, and wildness of the voile, satin and crepe).

The designs look so complicated and advanced. I'm really amazed at your collection. Your inspiration is difficult but you made it work. Takes a lot of craftsmanship to create these dresses. Great job. I'm so amazed by you XD

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This contest ends on Friday the 18th December 2009. If you want to enter, get your entries in quick! Here are all the entries so far. Also if you want to donate a prize, that would be fantastic too, just note me
